For both fabric and leather: With the right care, you increase the lifespan of your furniture. It also ensure the functional properties remain in good working order and that the furniture still looks great even with the passing of time.

SIT WELL AND STYLISHLY FOR A LONG TIME

New furniture has its own, typical, harmless odour that is quickly lost with good ventilation. The foams used by WEIBELWEIBEL are very high density and ensure durable, perfect seating comfort. A certain amount of crea-sing may occur due to softening of the foam and a noticeable softening of the foam in the beginning is normal. In order to retain a regular appearance, we recommend that all areas of the upholstery be used to the same extent. Regardless of the upholstery material, the following applies: never position furniture directly in front of a source of heat and avoid direct sunlight.

BOLSTERS

Loose bolsters with flake-filled or feather cushions have fillings that are stitched in separate compartments, which gives them a downy casual look. The covering fabric may wrinkle and the individual compartments may show through. This is a characteristic of high-quality cushions with compartment fillings and not a basis for complaints. These cushions should regularly plumped up to keep them in perfect shape.

ALUMINIUM PARTS

The polished aluminium parts may oxidise and this is completely normal for this type of material. Aluminium can especially start to tarnish and lose its polished shine when it comes into contact with skin. This is a characteristic of the unique look of polished aluminium and not a basis for complaints. On request, the aluminium parts can be polished up at the factory.

ALCANTARA & FABRICS

ALCANTARA

Alcantara is easy to care for and retains its beauty for a long time with just gentle care using water. Please do not use any chemical cleaning agents and never rub too hard. You can find recommended care methods for certain stains on the Alcantara label. Alcantara-maintenance instructions.

FABRIC

Fabrics need regular care. Our furniture fabrics can be cleaned easily with a vacuum cleaner. The best method is to use a soft brush with a low suction and always vacuum in the direction of the pile. For heavier soiling and stains, we recommend that you use PURATEX textile care in accordance with the instructions. Cleaning agents that you have not used before should be tested on the enclosed sample or a concealed spot of the furniture. After cleaning, let the upholstery dry completely before using again.

LEATHER

CARE

Leather is easy to care for and undemanding. Wipe it off every month or two with a moist cloth to preserve the moisture it needs. The leather should be treated with a leather care product once or twice a year. For this purpose we recommend the KERALUX care set. Do not use chemicals or household cleaning agents for cleaning. Protect the leather from intensive, direct sunlight.

CLEANING

The surface of pigmented leather is impregnated with a special protective finish. Nevertheless, stains on all leather qualities should be dabbed off with an absorbent cloth. Then wipe off the leather surface using a flannel soaked in mild soapy water and well wrung-out. Rinse with clear water and dry with a woollen cloth. Never rub, even in the case of stubborn stains. Cleaning agents whose effect is unknown should first be tested by applying to the enclosed sample or on a concealed area of the upholstery. Please do not use microfibre cloths intended for glass cleaning.

ECOPELL

Ecopell is a full-grain and untreated, pure vegetable-tanned leather. It boasts excellent breathability properties and it is very soft and warm to the touch. It retains its natural characteristics such as scratches from thorns, insect bites and scars, which give the leather its natural look. Do not clean with chemicals and avoid direct sunlight. The use of care products darkens the Ecopell leather.

VELLUTO

Velluto is a through-dyed, nubuck analine leather. Its softness and special silky hand give the leather an unmistakable character. All natural features such as scars, insect bites, etc. are preserved and emphasise the naturalness of this leather. Treated with 3M Scotchgard.

ANILINA

Anilina is a full grain, natural nappa leather. It impresses thanks to outstanding breathability and a very, soft, warm hand. Colour differences and natural features such as scratches from thorns, insect bites, scars, pigment spots and structural differences are preserved and give the leather its natural character. They are to be expected in this product and do not constitute grounds for complaint. Do not use any chemicals for cleaning and avoid direct sunlight.

SANTANA

Santana is a full grain cowhide with a soft hand and natural grain structure. Natural features such as scratches from thorns, insect bites and scars are preserved and give the leather its characteristic appearance. An easy care leather with excellent performance characteristics and outstanding breathability.

RANCHO

Rancho is a supple cowhide. This dyed leather is made from carefully selected rawhides. Its thickness allows the grain pattern to come to full effect.

SIERRA

Sierra is a dyed and robust cowhide with an even grain pattern. With its protective surface coating the leather is ideally suited to use in public places.
